Deuteronomy 16:3
“Thou shalt eat no
unleavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith,
even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in
haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land
of Egypt all the days of thy life.”
1 Corinthians 5:7-8
“Your glorying is not
good. Knowing ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out
therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For
even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast,
not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with
the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”
*The Blood is a
covering of protection. The Lord told the people of Israel to put blood on the
door lintels so that death will pass them, just like what Jesus wants from us.
We need the blood of Jesus to cover us.
Exodus 12:23
“For the Lord will
pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the
lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will
not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.”
*Looking back at the
event, when God led the people of Israel out of Egypt, also resembles that of
the Lord Jesus Christ and the day of the Passover where He then died and became
the perfect sacrifice for the world. *
1 John 1:7
“But if we walk in
the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
*When receiving the
Lord Jesus Christ in our hearts we can’t hold onto any pass sins. Because God
is holy, and God dwells only in vessels that are holy.*

Luke 12:1
“In the mean time,
when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch
that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of
all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.”
